Seasons End

Seasons End

Well all you Retro Furniture blog readers its been a long week of Indian Furniture blogs and I’ll be honest the mad blogger is running a bit on empty with the internet going on about the us election and everything.

However this weekend there is a Motorsport double header which I am particularity looking forward do watching in front of my Retro TV Unit, the first of these is the Motogp finale at Valencia which will cap off a classic and historic season of racing, some of which I have reviewed as part of my Indian Sheesham Wood blogs.

However as well as this the F1 world championship moves to brazil where the world championship could very well be decided in this race with Nico Rosberg on course to emulate Damon Hill in becoming on the 2nd son of a world champion to claim a world title himself, which should lead to a lot of F1 twitching around a Vintage Coffee Table.

In a season where Mercedes seemingly endless stranglehold on F1 continues it really boiled down to Hamilton and Rosberg for the title as Red bull are left to pick up the pieces and Ferrari seemingly repeating their recent history of failing to deliver the car required to challenge for a championship.

After a string of strong performances from Rosberg including 8 victories all he needs to do is finish second or better to take his first world title and considering the Merc’s have not finished off the podium this year this seems all the more likely.

Not to be a Rosberg basher or anything – however Hamilton this year seems to have been hit with champions luck with a series of engine failures and driver errors is still in with a shot however despite this which is a testament to a talent that will fight to the end.

So here is to a great weekend of racing which I will certainly be looking forward to as much as taking delivery of my new Retro Sideboard.
